User Management

User Management

In the Settings menu, you can find the “Users”. The “Active users” will show you the list of active users. The menu on the left gives you access to other overviews, for example a list of users ordered by their last login date. You can also find an overview of all inactive users here.

Creating a new user

To add a user, click on “+ New User”.

Email address

The email address should be the address the user logs into MLM with. If users want to be able to use the Single Sign-On function, they should use a Google or Microsoft email address.

User details

Enter the rest of the users’ details. For the nickname you can generally fill in the user’s first name, but it can be useful to change it if there are two or more users with the same name. Initials are not required either, but can be added if desired.

Language

The supported languages as of now are English and Dutch. You can specify the language by the two-letter ISO codes: “NL” for Dutch, “EN” for English. It is possible to get a custom setup configured with another language if needed.

Password attempts

Leave “Password attempts” blank. When a user has tried to login with a wrong password, this field will show how many attempts have been made.

Mobile phone, signature name, professional function

The “mobile phone”, “professional function” and “signature name” fields can be used to set up your signature at the end of emails. They are not required.

User role

The “User role” is important. In general, a user should be given the “Author” role. This role allows a user to do things such as follow up leads, create notes, send emails, etc.

An “Administrator” is able to do more than an “Author”, such as defining drop reasons, labels and email profiles. If needed, it is possible to get custom roles with specific permissions, too.

Default group

The default group can often be left blank. It can be used to filter a large group of users. For example, an international organization can use groups to organize their users by country. A user will only see all information that is part of their default group.

Dealer

When there is a dealer that needs its own login, you can use the “Dealer” field to connect the user to this dealer. When a user is linked to a dealer, they can only see leads from this specific dealer. You can have more users that are connected to the same dealer.

Two-factor authentication

If your MLM has two-factor authentication enabled, you can overrule this setting for a specific user in the “Two-factor authentication” field.

User is active

If the user you have made is active, check “User is active”.

Once done, click “Save” on the top right corner.
